Overview

San Juan Health is seeking a professional nurse manager who will be responsible for the leadership and management of the nursing department. The nurse manager will function as part of the nursing team by providing patient care, discharge planning, rounding on patients, and managing inpatient and outpatient nursing services. The nurse manager will work closely with hospital administration and other departments to achieve goals and carry out the organization’s vision of being the best place to work, the best place to practice medicine, and the best place to receive care.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have an active RN license in the state of Utah and have at least five years of relevant clinical nursing. Preference will be given to applicants with a BSN. Applicant must demonstrate competent leadership skills, critical thinking skills, developed interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to inspire and operate effectively at all levels. The applicant must be reliable, hardworking, professional, and able to follow and maintain confidences as required by healthcare and HIPAA law.
