Blue Mountain Hospital and San Juan Health are pleased to co-sponsor healthcare scholarships to local residents of San Juan County pursuing higher education in a related healthcare discipline. Having a competent, qualified, and highly effective workforce are the anchors that have made healthcare in San Juan County flourish and we desire to keep this strong tradition alive.

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a healthcare course of study such as nursing, laboratory technician, professional coding, physical therapy, etc. Consideration will also be given to those pursuing general education (business, biology, anatomy), but who desire to use that education in the healthcare industry as noted in the required essay. Applicants must be a current resident of San Juan County and/or document intentions to use said education in San Juan County.

In order to help students continue their education in a healthcare related field, applicants who have previously received our scholarship may receive priority consideration for future awards provided eligibility is maintained. Scholarship funds may be used to cover the cost of tuition, books, fees, and/or other cost to pursuing education as approved by the scholarship committee.

DEADLINE: To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit this online application by 10:00PM (MST) on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The application form will go offline at 10:00PM (MST) and anything submitted after that will NOT work. The application must be fully completed and submitted by this time and date with all required fields and documentation uploaded. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Finally, no paper-based or emailed applications will be accepted–they must be submitted via this online application form.
