Medical Biller

San Juan Health is seeking a highly motivated office professional to join our staff as a medical biller in the business office located in our administrative building in Monticello. This position requires attention to detail, basic accounting and math skills, being a confident communicator (phone and in-person), familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- HIM and ROI processing
- Early out and collections
- Patient Statements
- Phone and in person payments
- Data entry
- Account follow up
Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of health insurance and electronic medical record is preferred, but not required. At a minimum, applicants will have a high school diploma. The applicant will be someone that is reliable, hardworking, professional, and able to follow and maintain confidences as required by healthcare and HIPAA law.
