Overview

San Juan Health is seeking a full-time receptionist for our Spanish Valley Clinic. We are looking for a welcoming, dependable individual who enjoys helping others and can keep a busy front desk running smoothly. The schedule for this position will be Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Greeting and checking in patients
• Answering multi-line phones
• Scheduling in our Cerner EMR system
• Managing referrals and follow-ups
• Scanning, data entry, and clerical work
• Multitasking across software systems
• Supporting a team-focused work environment
• Ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Providing outstanding customer service

Minimum Requirements

The applicant must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be someone that is reliable, hard working, professional, and will follow and maintain confidences as required by healthcare and HIPAA law. The ideal candidate will also have:

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Be comfortable with computers and quick to learn
• Have experience in medical or customer service preferred
• Be a team player with great communication
• Have a friendly, patient-focused attitude
