Overview

San Juan Health is seeking an exceptional primary care Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team!

This clinician will provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, infants to geriatrics, mainly in the Spanish Valley Clinic, with some coverage in our other clinics as well. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Effectively diagnose and provide therapeutic treatments for a wide range of patient needs.
  • Work independently with most patients, using critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to quickly assess and treat patients and/or refer to higher level of care.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe and recommend medications or other forms of treatment

 

Minimum Requirements

A master’s degree in nursing from an accredited MSN educational program, with evidence of completion of an RN program and Utah State Licensure or a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited PA educational program, including National Certification and Utah State Licensure is required. In addition, the applicant will have a sound understanding and have strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.

We offer our full-time employees health insurance through PEHP with a deductible of $500 per person or $1,000 per family. The employee pays 17% of the premium. Our dental insurance is also through PEHP and our vision coverage is with EyeMed.
We also provide our full-time employees with life insurance and long-term disability coverage at no cost. Additional life insurance can be purchased as well.
For retirement benefits, San Juan Health currently contributes an amount equal to 10% of your gross wages into a traditional 401A retirement account. Employees can also contribute to a 457 account if they choose. Participation in a Flex Spending Account (FSA) is also a benefit option.
San Juan Health provides 7 paid holidays annually, and employees accumulate paid time off (PTO) as they work.
