Receptionist/Medical Assistant

Overview

Are you a motivated, flexible, and compassionate team player who thrives in a busy, patient-centered environment? Spanish Valley Clinic is seeking a versatile individual to join our team in a dual role as Front Desk Receptionist and Medical Assistant. This unique position blends both administrative and clinical responsibilities. You’ll greet and check in patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, assist providers, room patients, perform basic clinical duties, maintain supplies, and help keep our clinic running smoothly, all while providing the high-quality, personal care of our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and phone management
• Preparing rooms, assisting with procedures, stocking, and autoclaving
• Supporting providers and ensuring smooth daily clinic flow
• Delivering excellent patient service with care and empathy

Minimum Requirements

The candidate must have at least a high school diploma and previous medical experience and/or front desk experience is preferred. Applicant will be professional, HIPAA-conscious, and detail-oriented. In addition, we are looking for someone with:

• Flexibility to shift between front and back office duties
  
• Dependable and adaptable in a fast-paced setting

Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
