Overview

San Juan Health is seeking a highly motivated medical lab tech that can adapt in a fast-changing healthcare work environment.

The candidate will perform routine and stat laboratory testing, collect sample specimens, perform phlebotomy for venous and arterial blood, run required quality control testing, and maintain required documentation. Candidate performs preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments, participates in proficiency testing, and achieves satisfactory scores in all areas of the laboratory.

 

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor of science degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or clinical laboratory science, or an associate of science in clinical laboratory science, or equivalent education and training is required. Having earned MT/MLS/MLT certification and experience working in a laboratory are preferred.
